Darksiders 2 how long is the crucible

This setup can't counteract the damage you take directly, but so long as you do not die, you will be able to refill your health very quickly and continue on in The Crucible. The most important item that you need for this build is a relatively powerful set of Possessed Scythes. The easiest way to get this is to play the Crucible and grab the loot at the last stage you feel comfortable. For your secondary weapon, the Deposed King's Scepter is great but any powerful heavy weapon should do the trick.

For magic, you must have both Exhume and Teleport Slash and you should have them sufficiently juiced up particularly Exhume's Death Allure skill.

A third skill is useful and up to you though Unstoppable's ability to jack up your critical chances and damage is great for boosting your health with your scythes. The basic strategy with the build is to, without exception, unleash your minions at the start of every round. This gives you breathing room and a chance to formulate a strategy. Then pick off the small enemies by using death grip and pulling them towards you. Immediately following up the grab you should use an overhead smash with whatever strong weapon your using.

Your scythes should then go to work on whatever big baddies are in the round, freezing them and allowing you to put on the punishment. If you need health or to escape, Teleport Slash will become your best friend.

Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident". User Info: Nightmare An hour more or less. PSN: Nightmare I just did it in about 50 minutes in one sitting. My armor isn't great my but my weapon is fabulous. Building your own is the way to go. I stayed at full health and wrath the entire time. My full Necromancer build, mostly the ghouls, was used after wave Good luck! Kill the Scarabs first, and then go after the Scarab Hulks.

Just be patient, dodge, attack, and you should be able to get rid of them. Be careful of the AoE damage of the Abominations, as that can suck up your health real fast. Wave 45 is a joke wave with the solo Bone Giant. Level 4 starts off with some simple waves, but gets more and more difficult, and includes wave 70, which is one of the toughest waves in the Crucible.

Waves are quite simple, with Corrupted Angels and a few Ayfids. The rest of the waves in this set of 5 are really simple. Wave can also be quite simple.

Though, you should be wary of the Sycophants. They generally have low health, but what makes them dangerous is the shock they release after dying, which can be very damaging. Be careful about this especially in Wave 57, as after two Sycophants you will also fight three Corrupted Construct Adjuncts. In Wave 58, make sure you kill the Angels first, and then go over to the Corrupted Champion.

Wave 59 is sort of harsh because of the sheer number of the enemies. Just rely on your agility and reflexes and take them out.

Wave 66 gives you 3 Legion Soldiers to fight against. These guys can do a hell lot of damage, so make sure you are avoiding attacks and dealing damage. Wave 67 is sort of similar, except that it has a Legion Champion, which does even more damage. Take out the Solider first, and then focus on the Champ. Go full-out offensive against the Champ, and when it blocks, use Harvest.

Similarly, wave 68 gives you 5 Legion Soldiers to fight against. Waves 69 and 70 are quite tough. Focus on this guy first before the Soldiers, and make sure you do not get hit by its Fire Orbs ability.

This enemy is tough, but what is tougher is wave Wave 70 is super-difficult because of the combination of the Legion Champion and the Maelstrom, two of the strongest enemies you have faced so far. The Soldier seems like a child in front of these two. The best bet against these guys is the Reaper form. Be patient, be strong, and hopefully you will manage to conquer both of these tough foes. The Nightmare Prowlers do some good bit of damage, so if you are caught frozen you can really have a bad time.

Wave 73 is another difficult wave because it combines the annoying Maelstrom and the Nightmare Prowlers. If you are frozen, then you can kiss yourself goodbye because the Maelstrom will destroy you in a matter of seconds. This is by many considered the hardest wave of the Crucible because of this deadly enemy combination. Focus on the Prowlers, and make sure you are not getting hit.

Watch for wave 75 the Deposed King - that spin attack is dangerous. If you have completed the game, you are familiar with the Maelstroms you encounter in Shadow's Edge the red liches that shoot a 5-combo fireball at you.

These are very dangerous because of the extremely high burst damage they do even on easy and because potions give you a HoT rather than a burst heal - the fireballs can overwhelm the potions and kill you, especially if you are frozen or stunned wave 70 or especially You only encounter them a few times, but when you know they are coming up, pop unstoppable before they spawn and hit them with a couple teleport slashes to kill them fast.

On wave 92 where you encounter two of them and where I almost died because of the burst damage I had to pop Reaper form. For wave endgame boss , just spam teleport strike, stay away from him and use as many potions as you need to to survive.

Good luck all - it is hugely satisfying to know you beat this test of endurance! Showing most recent comments. View all comments. I got to level 75 which is the freaking Deposed King. Died and lost 25 levels. And it took me 5 times to get from Great solution! Critical chance and critical damage are extremely important.
