He went on to snag several more national spots and advertisements for major brands including Target, Verizon, Payless Shoes and Lowe's.

This season chronicles the struggles that Joel and Julia are going through with their marriage and how it is affecting their children. Based on events in the director's life, "Dealin' with Idiots" tells the tale of the antics that occur with parents and their athletically blessed children. He is very interested in video games, and on his first couple of days of school, he fakes being sick because he is afraid of the other children.

He struggles in school and struggles to make new friends. Eventually, Joel helps Victor join a baseball team where he is eventually accepted, and Julia helps him catch up with his classmates in school since he had missed 47 days of school in the year before his mother went to jail. All is going well until he begins to feel like he isn't part of the family.

He doesn't feel like Julia is his mom, so he acts out. It doesn't help either that Sydney taunts him about where his mother is.

She pushes his limit by saying that his mother didn't love him because he was a bad boy. This causes Victor to throw a metal baseball bat at Sydney, which misses her and breaks the door behind her. Julia lashes out at Victor which causes him to think that Julia hates him, and he refuses to have her in his life. Well, we've already established I would love to have more scenes with Dax. I would love to have more scenes with Craig T. Nelson and I would really love to have more scenes with Mae Whitman because she's incredible and she should be winning Emmys. What has it been like to see Savannah grow up on the show? Oh my gosh. She's grown up so much. When we first started shooting, she didn't know how to read. So, as an actor, you have to have someone read the script out loud to you and help you memorize your lines.

It's a whole different operation than reading it and being able to take it in and just have it be a very pure thing between the page and yourself. So she's grown so much as an actress. It's really cool. And she has a great time, which is a really important thing for a kid. Can you relate to that a bit since you were a child actor too? I had a great time too. People treat you very much like you're an important part of this equation.

They hold you responsible and nobody says, "Don't worry about it. You're just a kid. Get it together. What can we look forward to for the season finale? I think it's pretty interesting the way Sarah's dilemma resolves because she has the wonderful and terrible problem of choosing between two great guys. Wash our hands of that and movin' on!
